Social sciences and rule of law dimension

Courses on social sciences and rule of law dimension aim to develop students’ critical thinking skills and a spirit of social concern. They provide courses and lectures on social phenomena and legal administrations, as well as social inequality issues. These courses encourage and guide students to move from campus to off-campus social environments, hoping to cultivate students' logical reasoning and critical thinking skills, and to strengthen their civic literacy in legal knowledge.

Social sciences and rule of law dimension is one of the four dimensions of general education since school year 109(2020). All students have to take four credits from the social sciences and rule of law dimension, unless their majors are in the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
